Music has a way of saving our souls and it’s not just in the way that it touches us and influences us to do something great, but it inspires us to just go on and live. Because of that one song you listen to when you are feeling a little lonely, you are still alive today.

This was the concept of this month’s issue. Music as your savior and inspiration to just go through life without the contant feeling of heaviness because after all, it’s the best way to translate your thoughts into actual words. So in this issue, we have the Queen Mei Bastes in our cover. She started a revolution in the music scene and it saved, to say the least, the comatosed underground OPM scene. It did just not help boost the original Filipino music but it also created unforgettable memories and friendships that will last. Meiday is not just an event, it is a groundbreaking experience that left a mark in our hearts and minds and we are forever grateful for Mei for creating it.

So here it is, our February 2012 issue. God save the Queen.
